So

AHOY from the world of thrift shopping. Thrift shopping is key to any...money challenged? fashionista and it can go in many different directions. One cannot assume that they are going to go into any "dandy deals" thrift and find the best embellished flapper skirt of the 20th century. From what i saw today often here is little hope of finding anything suitable for a wardrobe of a modern girl.. unless you are into high wasted pastel unfitted jeans holiday sweaters not quite weird enough to be funny and a matching size XXXL silk polyester pant cami combo for the "curvier woman"

i Did manage to escape with a two dollar rolling stones Tee and a five dollar oversized orange sweater that i can sew vintage daisy buttons onto. Thrift store shopping is not for the weak hearted. keep at it and someday you might find the best bedazzled chanel sweater or an awesome acid wash jean jacket. Just watch out for the sales reps at those places..when a person comes in for the first time in probably 4 days they are a thirsty vampire who will suck the sales out of you.

Be strong thrifters
A

p.s. try buffalo exchange it always has the best thrift..a little pricier however than my favorite goodwill.

annd if you are going to buffalo exchange try going to their dollar day sale on April 25th..proceeds benefit animals rights.
SAVE THE WHALES HOMIES.

OKAY so here is my number one cool thing of the day. Not to be to cheezy to make one vomit but it is actually a very WARM thing. ha yeh i know gag me. for those of us who get freezing cold when the temperature drops below 50 degrees F this is the perfect solution. And hey, who knows? Perhaps this will become a new trend, i mean if uggs and moonboots can do it why not the Lippi Selk Bag? I personally wouldn't be surprised. After the Ugg craze nmothing can shock me.

personally if i was to get one i would go for the yellow.

My virgin entry

HEY THATS MY EYE!

Hello anyone who might be reading this, i hope eventually someone will. I am starting this blog because i am bored with suburban existence and bored at boarding school. I have this ability to stumble upon strange fascinating things and i am always looking to show them off. So i figured i would start a blog devoted to showing off strange but beautiful things. I think the most beautiful things in the worlds are commonly misunderstood as weird or ugly. My artsy fartsy mom has this saying that strange people and weird things keep the world spinning. SO this "blog" is devoted to shining a light on interesting things that often go unnoticed. I am also going to slip in some of my art/ photography maybe even a fashion post. I don't really know what i am doing so this blog is going to develope as it goes, we will see what happens. This is going to be like an indie magazine..i think. Music, photos, fashion, gadgets, sculpture, are all things i am going to bring light to. BUT my true fascination is with people. I tend to love and attract out of the ordinary people. this blog is for them. \
Now i know that many of you..if there are ANY of you reading this probably don't really care about me but i thought i would give you a Polaroid of my life. I am fairly young but i have been telling people i am 21 since i was about 14. I go to a boarding school which tends to be horribly boring and too much work, i love art photography oil pastels, Edie sedgwick, modest mouse, the ocean,  rainbow sprinkles, surfing, bob Marley, hemp, concert tees, fred flare, denim shorts, doc martins, Rastafarian's, typos, mascara, diet coke, chicken wings, and other stuff.

hopefully this blog turns into something fun.
love
me.
